Janathon 2015: Day 5 - Still Cold

It's 22 degrees outside!

Alfie copes with the cold by further developing his relationship with the vent. This is one of many warming positions he's working on. One can assume this position is fairly effective, as measured by evidence of shedding found nearby.

Which is only exciting because it was 12 degrees this morning when I went to work, so it's kind of warm now. Sort of. Better, anyhow.

What am I saying?!? This weather sucks.

At least the suns out.

So I went out, wearing basically ALL of my running gear, with the intention of running three miles. But I was tired - a theme of late, that will hopefully end tomorrow, after I've had a good night of sleep without an alarm clock.

So shortly after two miles of running, I quit and walked home. The dog was thrilled. It's much easier to sniff everything when I'm moving slowly. But then I was cold, because I was sweaty and in that way, walking home is worse.

Does it sound like I'm just complaining? I might be.

Despite the difficulties, I managed to log three miles total today, if you count the walking.

PS - There are a bunch of bloggers participating in Janathon, but the only one I've been reading is Fit365, which is where I first read about Janathon. Fit365 should probably go get a lottery ticket, based on his post today
