The Plan for October

Planning! It's a Thing!

I'm going to start planning ahead a little bit more, one month at a time, to make it easier for you, if you want to follow along, and easier for me, so I don't have to spend every Sunday deciding what to do next. 

Here are the categories I decided to stick with for a general guideline of what comes next:

  1. Exercise
  2. Household
  3. Mental Health/Spiritual
  4. Dietary
  5. Something Creative
  6. Social

Since the last challenge in September was Dietary, October will start off Something Creative. I'm giving this a loose definition - anything from any of the arts will do. 

Here are my next five challenges, starting with the one I'll do this week: 

  1. Read a poem every day  and write a response
  2. No social media
  3. Exercise every day
  4. SNAP challenge (eat on $4.50 a day)
  5. Meditate/meditation challenge

 

Every Monday, look for a detailed post on what I'm going to do that week and why. And if you have any suggestions along the way, please share!

Other Things

This month I'll also being The Great Pumpkin Run 5K on October 5, running the Rock 'n' Roll half-marathon on October 19 (my birthday!), running the Pumpkin Dash 5K on October 26, and continuing to revise my novel.
