So it turns out (apparently) I can't get anything done on Saturday, and I can't clean on Sunday. Poor kitchen. I failed. Again. Or maybe I'm just asking for an extension. Please.
I might have tackled the last two cleaning jobs tonight if the kitchen hadn't been taken over this afternoon for beer bottling! I love beer and I certainly don't want to get in the way of that. The beer is a Mexican hot chocolate stout. It's my favorite and it's not carbonated or chilled yet.
Think I should try to make Eric do a year-long challenge in which he brews every single week? 2015? For sure! Too bad I'm not all that good at making Eric do things.
So, maybe tomorrow I will finish cleaning the kitchen. Hopefully you'll see a "Day Eight" cleaning post. My only other plan is to...
I'm trying to use all the exclamation points I can now, before I start meditating, at which point I will become a calm, sober person who doesn't use exclamation points. Only periods. Probably not even commas.
Seriously, though, I'm going to try to meditate. I'm going to use this list of methods. Technically it's six methods and a choose-your-own day, but we'll call it seven.
I'll write more tomorrow about why meditating is a good idea and why it is a challenge for me, but for now I'll tell you that I once found myself washing dishes when I had been trying to meditate. Not that washing dishes isn't sort of relaxing, but I wouldn't call it meditation.
So, now you know I can't clean seven days in a row. Next, we'll see if I can meditate seven days in a row.
Do you meditate? Any thoughts/advice/warnings?
