UnTappd

I forgot about UnTappd, the app I use to log the beers I drink. I forgot about it completely until I drank a great a beer yesterday. That beer was Grazler, a collaboration from New Belgium and 3 Floyds. It was all smoky goodness and I really wanted to let all my beer-drinking friends know how much I liked it, but... no. 

Unlike Runkeeper and MyFitnessPal, UnTappd doesn't exactly encourage a healthy habit. So you get to hear about it here!

The second really good beer I had was O'Fallon's Imperial Pumpkin. This one is all pumpkin pie, to a degree I haven't seen tasted before, and I've had a lot of pumpkin beer. You can read more about it here

Facebook

I'm doing fine avoiding Facebook, although I continue to get emails informing me how many notifications I have (37). I do miss it and I'm sure I'll go back to it when this is over. I don't feel like a better person or anything for avoiding it. It doesn't take too much of my time and allows me to feel like I know what's going on in the lives of many of my friends.

This week has left me feeling rather disconnected. I didn't see that coming. I thought I'd either feel exactly the same or better, based on what I'd read and heard from others. But I was wrong. Facebook seems to fill a genuine need for me. 

So I have the rest of today and tomorrow, then it's back to social media and on to seven days of exercise!
